School-Age Classes
Gymnastics Classes
JAG’s Gem-tastics program is built for students who want the full gymnastics experience—vault, bars, beam, and floor—while building strength, confidence, and skills that stick for life.
Students are placed based on skill and experience, as well as age. Our progressive, gem-themed levels—Sapphire, Emerald, and Ruby—allow gymnasts to grow at their own pace while being challenged in the right ways.
💪
Coaches lead monthly, low-pressure evaluations to track each gymnast’s development on every event.
🏅
When a gymnast masters the skills for an event, they earn a colored wristband to celebrate their progress.
🚀
Once all event wristbands are earned, they’re ready to level up and tackle the next set of challenges!
If your child has previous gymnastics experience, we’ll start them in the level that matches their current skills. Coaches will observe and adjust placement as needed to ensure your child feels supported, successful, and inspired to grow.
Gymnastics Sapphire
Ages 5 and up (50 minutes)
Building Basics – foundational skills and body awareness
Sapphire is our entry-level gymnastics class for students new to the sport or those working to build foundational skills. In this 50-minute class, gymnasts are introduced to the four Olympic events—vault, bars, beam, and floor—through fun, structured progressions.
Skills include forward and backward rolls, cartwheels and handstands on floor. Grip strength, pullovers and casts on bars, beginner vault drills, and basic mount, dismount and movement on beam. By the end of the Sapphire level, students will be able to perform cartwheels, full upright handstands, and backward rolls on the floor—preparing them for the next level in our Gem-tastics program.

Gymnastics Emerald and Ruby
Ages 5 and up (50 minutes)| by Invitation
Advancing Athletes – refining skills and building strength
Emerald is the first advanced level in our Gem-tastics program, designed for gymnasts who have mastered Sapphire-level skills and are ready for a greater challenge. In this 50-minute class, athletes continue progressing on all four events—vault, bars, beam, and floor—with increased focus on strength, form, and technical execution.
Emerald-level floor skills include round-offs, bridge kickovers, and basic leaps, jumps and turns. On vault, drills leading up to the handstand flat back vault. On beam, gymnasts begin exploring basic acrobatic elements like handstands and cartwheels. On bars, they continue to refine previously learned skills, adding independent skills such as back hip circles and sole circles. Emerald gymnasts build the control, coordination, and confidence needed to advance to Ruby, our most advanced Gem-tastics level.
Teen/Tween Gymnastics
Ages 10 and up (75 minutes)
Start Where You Are. Train With Your People.
This 75-minute class is designed for all levels of gymnasts ages 10 and up who are ready to develop skills in a supportive, age-appropriate environment.
Tween/Teen athletes progress through JAG’s Gem-tastics levels—Sapphire, Emerald, and Ruby—earning wristbands as they master new skills and build confidence across all four Olympic events: vault, bars, beam, and floor.
· Sapphire-level skills include cartwheels, handstands, forward and backward rolls, and basic event work.
· Emerald-level skills build on that foundation with round-offs, stronger handstands and cartwheels, and expanded beam, bar, and vault techniques.
· Ruby-level skills (introduced as gymnasts progress) include walkovers, handsprings, and more advanced combinations.
This class gives older athletes the chance to learn and grow at their own pace with peers their own age.

NinJAG Classes
NinJAG is a high-energy fusion of obstacle course training, gymnastics, martial arts, and freestyle movement. Students learn to flip, climb, vault, and roll through creative challenges while building the strength, agility, and focus to "out-move" imaginary opponents.
Designed for kids with endless energy, this skill-based program builds athleticism, coordination, and confidence through fast-paced circuits and ninja-style movement drills.
But NinJAG is more than just fun—it’s about character development, discipline, and determination. Students learn to channel their energy into focused effort, take on challenges with confidence, and grow stronger inside and out.
We believe that kids who learn to direct their drive toward a goal—physical or personal—build the foundation to succeed in all areas of life.

Ages 4.5 and up (50 minutes)
DODGE is where it all begins for our school-age NinJAGs. This fast-paced class introduces basic ninja skills like vaulting, swinging, rolling, and jumping through obstacle courses designed to build coordination, agility, and confidence.

JAG Flips
JAG’s Flips Track is designed for students who want to focus exclusively on tumbling and floor skills—perfect for kids who love acro, dance, cheer, or action sports like skiing, snowboarding, and skateboarding.
Just like our Gem-tastics program, Flips students are placed based on both
skill and experience, not just age. Our progressive levels—Flips Sapphire, Flips Emerald, and Flips Ruby—allow students to advance at their own pace.
💪 Coaches conduct
monthly, low-pressure evaluations to track each athlete’s growth.
🏅 When a student masters the required tumbling skills for a category, they earn a
colored wristband as a symbol of achievement.
🚀 Once all wristbands for a level are earned, they’re ready to move on to the next level of challenge!
If your child has previous tumbling or acro experience, we’ll place them in a class that best matches their ability. Coaches will observe and adjust as needed to make sure your child feels both
confident and motivated.
